Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and MN Luxe Home covering every visit to mnluxehome.com, our subdomains, mobile apps, and any related product or service we make available (together, the “Platform”). By creating an account, posting content, requesting a booking, paying a subscription, or merely browsing, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy, our Refund & Cancellation Policy, our Property Verification Policy, and our Community Safety Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms you must stop using the Platform.

2. Who can use MN Luxe Home

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. MN Luxe Home is intended for users physically located in or transacting on properties located in Nigeria. We may serve users in the United Kingdom and elsewhere where this is lawful, but you remain responsible for compliance with local law.

We may decline to offer the Platform — or any part of it — to any person, region, or payment method at our discretion.

3. Accounts, roles, and verification

Some functions require an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Keep your password and 2FA secret. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Use one account per natural person or one account per registered business.

Agent, agency, and creator accounts go through additional checks. Verification (face, identity document, business documents, property documents, GPS walkthroughs) may be required before some features unlock. See our Property Verification Policy for details. Approval is at MN Luxe Home’s discretion.

4. Listings and agent obligations

If you list a property you confirm that:

  • The information is accurate and not misleading.
  • You own the property OR you are authorised by the owner to market and let it.
  • The photos, video, and floorplans depict the actual property.
  • The price, fees, and availability are real and currently honoured.
  • You will respond to inquiries within a reasonable time.

We may downrank, hide, or remove listings that fail these standards. Repeated breaches can suspend the account and freeze payouts. See Acceptable Use for the full conduct rules.

5. Shortlet bookings and stays

When a guest requests a shortlet booking, the contract for the stay is formed between the guest and the host (agent or agency) once payment is confirmed and the host accepts. MN Luxe Home facilitates the booking, holds funds, and may release them to the host in line with our payout schedule and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Guests are responsible for following house rules and for any damage they cause beyond fair wear and tear. Hosts are responsible for accurate listings, clean and safe properties, and lawful occupancy.

6. Payments, subscriptions and boosts

Payments are processed by Paystack. You authorise Paystack to charge the payment method you provide for the amount displayed at checkout (including taxes and fees). For subscriptions you authorise recurring charges until you cancel.

Featured listings, boosts, and premium plans are billed in advance. Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. We never store your full card number.

7. Creator / influencer accounts

The Creator Program lets approved partners earn commissions by referring guests, agents, or subscribers. Payouts require a verified bank account and are subject to the rules published on the Creator Program page and the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Earnings are released after a clearance window during which chargebacks may reverse them.

8. Your content and our licence

You keep ownership of everything you upload — photos, videos, descriptions, reviews, inquiries, KYC documents, etc. You grant MN Luxe Home a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reformat, and use that content to operate, promote, and improve the Platform. We may remove content at any time.

KYC and verification documents are stored privately and are only viewable by authorised MN Luxe Home staff — see the Verification Policy.

9. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Post fake, scraped, duplicated, or misleading listings.
  • Solicit users off-platform to evade fees, reviews, or moderation.
  • Harass, threaten, defraud, or discriminate against other users.
  • Upload illegal, copyrighted, or sexually-explicit content.
  • Reverse-engineer or scrape the Platform without our written consent.
  • Interfere with security, rate limiting, or trust & safety systems.

10. Moderation, suspensions and removals

We may, at our discretion, edit, hide, suspend, or remove any account or listing that breaches these Terms, that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, or that we are required to act on by law. We will normally notify the affected user but are not obliged to do so if doing so would jeopardise an investigation.

11. Privacy and data

Your privacy matters. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act / NDPR (and UK GDPR where it applies), and how to make a data request. To submit one, visit /data-request.

12. Disclaimers and liability

MN Luxe Home is a marketplace. We are not a party to the underlying transactions between agents, agencies, guests, or owners. Verification badges do not guarantee any particular outcome, lawful title, or property condition.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MN Luxe Home is not liable for indirect or consequential loss; our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Platform is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will first be raised with us in writing at our support address and attempted resolution by good-faith negotiation for thirty days. Failing that, the courts of Lagos State have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the Platform and, where appropriate, notified by email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date confirms acceptance of the updated Terms.
